also, this is the most blognomic players I’ve ever seen…are we at a record?

I don’t remember it being higher.

I wish we were actually playing the game instead of having a slapfight though :(.  I am amused by how much ‘cavalry’ both sides are able to call forth.

Well hopefully, no matter what happens, a bunch of people will hang around and play.

Anyone got a list of who is on which ‘side’?  I’m curious what the numbers look like.

Unlikely, unless the next emperor is an experienced player with a good theme.

I nominate myself to be the emperor of a new dynasty.  It will be dinosaur/extinction themed.

Amnistar: might as well CfJ it.

This is almost certainly the record for BlogNomic; if we get 16 more players we’ll have passed the record for all nomics ever (PerlNomic set the record at 50 after a slashdotting, IIRC).

Someone give me the phrasing to start a new dynasty?  I’m out of practice :D

If this CfJ passes immediately fail all pending CfJs, Proposals and DoVs.
Add a new dynastic rule “Amnistar’s Victory” with the text “Amnistar has achieved Victory.”

That should do it, no?

“Replace Artist with ‘Dinosaur’ and ‘Critic’ with ‘Tyrannosaurus Rex’ throughout the ruleset. Repeal all dynastic rules. Start a new dynasty with Amnistar as its Tyrannosaurus Rex.”

Choose whatever words you want for ‘Dinosaur’ and ‘Tyrannosaurus Rex’.

Well figure better to do a CfJ to give me victory, then use a DoV to actually declare it, no?
