In the rule “Death”, after the text “other than this rule”, add this text:
and excluding any new subrules
Apparently, I forgot that subrules can also be considered rules. I’m having to add Death Dates to some of the new subrules that have been added, which is not what I had in mind originally.
Yeah, it’s not really a problem, but aesthetically, it displeases me.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.

I think its fine for subrules to have death dates, kinda depends on what happens with https://blognomic.com/archive/life_extenders though—right now a subrule can’t outlive its parent so having a separate death date is a bit silly as it’ll die before that
