Proposal: Money economy

Not a proposal

Adminned at 15 Dec 2006 21:04:05 UTC

Add new rule titled “Monetary Compensation”:

An Olympian, on winning a medal in an event, will earn currency (The currency name is arbitrary. If you vote FOR, please also include a vote on a currency name.) according to the following rules:

  • If the Olympian earns a Gold Medal, e will win 500 currency.
  • If e earns a Silver Medal, e will win 200 currency.
  • If e earns a Bronze Medal, e will win 100 currency.
If at least 1/2 of all comments containing counted “For” votes also contain the text “We need the popularity bonus”, or a reasonable facsimile thereof, then add
Popular Olympians instead receive 150% of the normal money award, rounded down to the nearest 100. Star Olympians instead receive 200% (not compounded with the 150% Popular Bonus) of the normal money award.
Add a new GNDT column called “Money”. If the Proposal titled “An Economy of love” passes, this Proposal does nothing.

This would make a good proposal.

Wait. Thisn’t isn’t a proposal. Which is good. Because there is no “If Elias’s rule passes, this does nothing” clause. </panictime>

I meant it to be a proposal, but I’ll alter it now (if I can).
