Add a subrule to the rule “Tier 6: The Wall”. Call it “Caretaker” and give it the following text:

At any given time up to one Avatar with occupancy tier 5 or 6 may be designated as the Caretaker. If there is no Caretaker, the Ascendant may appoint one and generate the Portent “On (date), Mercury moved into (sign)” where (date) is the current date and (sign) is the new Caretaker’s star sign.

Immediately after a Mindjacker ascends from Mindjacking the Caretaker, that Mindjacker receives 4 Matterium.

Add a subrule to the rule “Tier 4: Protoplasmic Quantum Soup” called “Matterium Mechanics” and give it the following text:

A Mindjacker may Cast Chaff as an Existential Action that costs one Matterium, plus an additional Matterium for each time they have already Cast Chaff this week. When a Mindjacker Casts Chaff, they lose one third of their Suspicion, rounded up.
