Call for Judgment: More Tracking

Reached quorum against 0-7.

Add to Temperature

Entities that are only Very Cold are tracked on the [[Very Cold]] wikipage. Entities that are Extremely Cold are tracked on the [[Extremely Cold]] wikipage.

Maybe this should be a proposal but people seem to keep on forgetting about paying extra for their actions. I was testing it with the first supply rule and it seems that maybe we should make it easier for people to see which rules are cold or not so they don’t forget about it. Also the “only Very Cold” is added in so that something which is Extremely Cold doesn’t appear on both pages.

hrmmmmfmfmfmfmmm this should be a proposal and even then I find it more convenient for it to be straight on the ruleset against

Well, I didn’t want to add a bunch of latitudes to the ruleset.

I think that would be good too tbh.

against Seems equally easy to overlook or forget this if the reminder is off in another document.

Shouldn’t we also have been applying this to other every other game action (like “make a public post indicating that they GATHER THEIR TOOLS” and “privately request the Expedition Leader their Backgrounds”), if every dynastic rule is Very Cold?

[Kevan] Yes the Backgrounds rule would have people pay that cost if it was Very Cold; however since the Backgrounds rule has been in Base Camp this whole time, it is not Very Cold.  against

Ah, okay, I missed all that. Still catching up.

Seems like it would make a lot more sense to just track this in the rules themselves. Or to repeal the whole “abstract rules exist in physical locations” thing - I’m always a bit suspicious of deliberately unintuitive mechanics.

I’d fix it but my proposal count is filled up. I also feel like it doesn’t need a CfJ. They originally tracked the temperature in their titles. Probably should just add it back to tracking whether they’re very cold or extremely cold. There was too much tracking originally.
