Add a new Rule, “Mutiny on the Inquisitor”:-
If the Captain is ever languishing in Davy Jones’ Locker or the British Gaol, then any Swashbuckler may take over the captaincy of the Inquisitor and declare victory, provided that their Infamy Rating (GPS + number of items of Motley) is greater than the Infamy Rating of every other Swashbuckler currently aboard the ship.
Mutiny ‘as t’ be every, or at least a majority o’ Swashbucklers against the Captain.
There be honour amoungst pirates, me lad. At least let the Cap’n call an Adventure to rescue his good self if he be in British Gaol.
Arr, maybe this mechanic be needing some time for the crew to respond, if a majority of them would rather rescue the captain.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
