Proposal: My last post was a Protosal, it has always been a Protosal.

quorum 12-3. Enacted. - lilomar

Adminned at 29 Jul 2010 13:54:26 UTC

Create a new YELLOW Clearance rule, entitled “Report for Briefing” with the text

Any Citizen who is not in Room 23-J, Sector BLN at Midnight of August 7 Gains 5 Traitor Points. No Citizen is in Room 23-J, Sector BLN, unless the ruleset specifies that they are.

Repeal this rule immediately after midnight of August 7.

Citizen, what do you mean you “do not know how to get to Sector BLN, much less room 23-J”? Are you questioning the orders of The Computer?

imperial Idk, is that enough time to set up rules for locations and movement and what nots?

Darknight: probably not, but that isn’t the only way to get there from here.

Hopefully, one citizen, or a conspiracy of citizens, will scam their way into the room, and prevent others from doing so.

If it’s looking really hopeless as the day draws near, it may be acceptable, depending on circumstances, to move that date out.

Also, it looks like some commie sabotage has taken place in the title for this proposal.

Kyre-R, are you accusing a High-Programmer of being a commie? False accusations are Treason.

Kyre: Just realized you might really have been confused by the title. It’s a (rather oblique) reference to “We have always been at war with Eastasia.” from 1984. It also references the fact that my previous post was supposed to be a Proposal, but I ended up using it like a Protosal.

Kyre:

I got that reference. What I didn’t get until a few seconds ago was the word “protosal”, or really “proto-sal”. I thought it was just a misspelling.

Way for me to beat the wordplay into the dirt though!

Oh, a 1984 reader? Nice, arrow for this :) (yes, yes, I assume this won‘t be helpful for you) and for for scripts.

against CoV as sector changes are not allowed any more.

I wanted to CoV here instead of chaning my vote in The island awaits you, but this is meaningless now.

lilomar:

I wondered about that comment.

One citizen did manage to get eir Sector change processed before the hold was put up…

lilomar:

btw, the main reason i stopped handing out sector changes, and introduced the bugfix, was because I don’t want to be responsible for someone not making it because i don’t notice eir request.
