Call for Judgment: Nearly Players [Core]
Invalidated through last year’s “Any post that is or is made illegal as a result of an infraction against any of the prohibitions set out in this rule continues to be an Official Post but may no longer have any effect on the ruleset or the gamestate.” rule - editing a post after voting means it cannot have any effect. In “Players”, replace “Any human may apply to join BlogNomic (if they are not already a Player) by registering at http://blognomic.com via the Register link in the sidebar, and then making a post making clear their wish to be a Player (plural form Players). An Admin shall add them to the roster in the sidebar, at which moment they become a Player.” with:-
Any human may apply for access to the BlogNomic blog through the process outlined in the [[FAQ]]. A human with access to the blog who is not already a Player may make a blog post making clear their wish to be a Player (plural form Players); in response, an Admin shall add them to the roster in the sidebar, at which moment they become a Player.
Uphold all attempts by admins to make non-Player humans into Players (or corresponding dynastic-equivalent terms) by adding them to the sidebar, which precede this CfJ being raised.
As raised by Jumble on Slack, the “registering” terminology in the Players rule is out of date, possibly invalidating some people’s statuses as Player. (“When a DoV is enacted then all game actions that led up to it are considered to be upheld.” may have caught most of them but won’t have applied to Sylkweaver or Casio.)
For sanity’s sake, Sylkweaver and Casio shouldn’t vote on this - or if they do, we should make sure that enough other player are voting on it that it still reaches quorum.
