No, the four day limit is only within a dynasty. Which is why Josh and I didn’t mind idling out as part of a victory scam.

Oh, so it was deliberate? I was assuming it was chance.

It was coordinated. There were three zombies and we all felt we had a lower-than-33% chance of winning under normal victory conditions (with some other players being very close to five A+ grades), so we just rolled a die with the agreement that two would idle out to let the other win. Alecto won the roll.

My experience with Nomic scams suggests that it’s very difficult to come up with a victory condition that is a) achievable and b) not trivial to complete for three players working in concert.  I really thought this one was going to go to grades, though—William and Kevan were only a couple classes away from hitting the five-A+s mark, and Roujo wasn’t far behind.

This dynasty finished sooner than I expected.

It’s probably best to make a post. Officially, all you need to do is ‘request’ to unidle, but your request stands a better chance of getting noticed if it’s in a fresh post. You can also ask an admin in the IRC channel if one is on.
