How is “This is its Markup” ambiguous? Its clearly the math, not the dice roll.

It clearly confused one person, and that’s enough for me (plus I called out the potential confusion earlier, so that’s 2 people that saw something ambiguous, regardless of how clear it seemed to others at the time).

if we are going to fix something, it might be a good call to switch to a term other than “Markup”—I think some of the confusion here is that if an item is worth $10 and I sell it for $15, using actual definitions of words the “Markup” is only $5 but rules both as currently written (as far as I understand) and as would be written if this passes, “Markup” would be the full $15

Agreed with that, “the black market price for the potions is….”  spell it out.

I used the term “Premium”. Would you rather it simply be “Black Market Price”?

I went ahead and changed it to “Black Market Price”

Doesn’t seem entirely fair to (by upholding Clucky’s correction) force a player to go through with someone else’s reading of an ambiguous action and get a lower reward for it, when it was an optional action that doesn’t directly affect anything else, and they said when challenged “I wouldn’t have done this otherwise.”

for at least resolving an ambiguity in the ruleset.
