Proposal: Nomic Interactionism

Timed out and failed, 1-6. Josh

Add a new Core Rule to the Ruleset.  Call it “Agoran Diplomacy” and give it the following text:

The Wiki page “[[Agoran Infoport]]”  is a collection of documents that represent shared gamestate between Agora Nomic and Blognomic.  The contents of that Wiki page may only be modified as allowed and/or required by either the Ruleset or by the rules of Agora.

Remove all text from the Agoran Infoport.

against As I don’t play Agora, having gamestate that can be set and established under a ruleset that I can’t see runs directly contrary to my interests.

against Likewise. Also, Agora haven’t had a particularly good track record of interacting with BlogNomic.

against While shared gamestate sounds cool, it also sounds fraught with danger.

against Simply because “the ruleset of Agora” isn’t defined very well.

The way Agora treats gamestate, that would cause quite some problems at the other end too. (Agoran gamestate just exists, and isn’t constantly tracked. In particular, it can’t be modified just by editing a page, unless a rule specifically allows that.)
