Not really feeling it
Not sure why but the theme isn’t really working for me yet - I can’t come up with any decent ideas for props or mechanics. I’ll keep reading but for the time being I’ll back out.
Quorum stays 12.

I’m always a bit wary of dynasties that use a pre-existing game as their theme, for this reason, but I think we’re okay so long as we take tangents in our stride, and nobody is grumpily voting things down because they’re “wrong”. The fact that Flurie got good support for a proposal made with no knowledge of the game (and which introduced aliens, which didn’t - so far as I remember - ever appear in the RPG) seems like we’re on the right track.
Yeah, if I’m honest there’s some confirmation bias at work - because I don’t know the source, I don’t recognise when we deviate from it. But nevertheless, I have an ideas drought, so it’s probably best that I sit out until the shape of the dynasty is more apparent.
I think it just takes a general familiarity with tongue-in-cheek dystopian satire. It probably helps that I read the Illuminatus! Trilogy and became a SubGenius when I was 12 or so.
Josh: Mastermind he/they
Lack of familiarity with the source material doesn’t help, especially as we seem to be sticking to it quite closely this dynasty.
