Notice of Violation

After marking Tracking Conflict enacted, I erroneously concluded it was instead Unpopular and marked it failed. This falls into the same problem as the DoV, except that the gamestate updates had platonically occurred prior to the CfJ becoming illegal and thus weren’t prevented, and even though it’s illegal it can’t be marked as such after it has already resolved.

I have therefore reverted its status to Enacted as a Rule 4.2.2 correction, and its changes stand.

I will note that gamestate changes can’t occur platonically (“For gamestate which is tracked in a specific place (such as a wiki page), any alteration of that gamestate as a result of a Worker’s action is (and can only be) applied by editing that data in that place”) but don’t think we should make a big deal out of this.

I think the best way to interpret this is that Bucky gained permission from the core rules to make the changes (as a consequence of the CFJ being enacted), before the CFJ became unable to have any further effect on the ruleset or gamestate. So Bucky could then make the changes.

It doesn’t matter anyway, though – I’m planning to repeal all the relevant rules by Ascension Address anyway, so it doesn’t really matter whether they were legally changed or not.
