If “Spin the Wheel” enacted, then for each Segment that exists: roll five DICE6, concatenate the results into a five digit number, find the corresponding entry on this list and change the Name of that Segment to the word in that entry (with its first letter capitalised).
I am curious what this does to players wagers though. Everyone’s wager will still be “segment one”. Do they, now invalid, default to the default value? Or can this proposal not pass because it would cause them to become invalid? Or do they stay invalid and everyone just has to change them?
@Clucky Right now a Wager is “the Name of a Segment”, which makes things tricky, but if a Wager were instead just a Segment (or a set of Segments, if Multi-bets passes) I’d think changing the segment name means you can update everyone’s wagers to the new names since they’re the same segments, just different names.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
