Add a new rule to the ruleset. Call it “Puppeteering” and give it the following text:
Whenever a proposal becomes Enacted, its author gains an amount of Power equal to Quorum unless the proposal’s title includes the word “Trivial”.
mildly; I worry that it will clause a glut of nonsense proposals.
A glut of trivial fixes and a general slowing of the game by having people vote against the proposals of their opponents for boring “but he’ll get points!” reasons.
As it has been, so shall it ever be.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
