Add the following to the end of rule 1.2.1, Idle Survivors:
Admins who are unidling themselves should, in their first EVC following each unidling, highlight their changed idle status and any changes to quorum to have come about as a result of it.
How do you feel about “Admins may render themselves Idle at any time, but should make a post announcing it when they do so” in the same rule?
I’ll support this for the same reason I supported the quoted phrase’s addition to the Ruleset in the first place.
[Josh] It seems a bit arbitrarily spammy when non-admin players are only required to make a comment to announce the same intention. I voted it through, but only for being better than the previous “must” version.
For the same reason as Kevan. Also, we haven’t had to report changes to quorum in ages.
Wow, I forgot the icon. Anyways, the reason it was made just a post was because admins kept posting comments to posts noone had ever commented on before that were out of sight.
Oh, i guess that doesn’t work with an NPC being the emperor and all.. it is!
That means it has timed out, and can be adminned. Speaking of which…
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
