Am I right in thinking that this allows you to double up on items to gain the advantage anyway, since only one set gets negated?

I’m rather on that if you duplicated you get none of the benefits

Perhaps the wording could be something like “In the case that an Explorer has one or more instances of a given Advantage and one or more instances of the Disadvantage that is designated by the same number as that Advantage in the above list…”

I couldn’t reliably parse the wording :(
Would something like this work: “If an Explorer is considered to have simultaneously Advantage and Disadvantage of the same number, then they instead have none of these.”

Appending this text literally under “Advantages and Disadvantages” will place it before the list.

Per Quirck - also not entirely sure how clearly this interacts with the actual “is considered to have the Advantage” wordings of the various items.

  I like it, but it might need another pass on the wording.
