If the proposal at “http://blognomic.com/archive/employment/” has been enacted, add a new dynastic rule to the ruleset. Call it “Full Employment” and give it the following text:
If there is a Player Z such that each other player is either employed by Player Z or employed by a player employed by Player Z, Player Z achieves victory.
Early victory conditions give shape to a game when otherwise there is nothing shasping it and it ends up looking like a wall covered in spagetti.
Shouldn’t be the only victory condition, and is probably unacheivable. But I’d like it to be there in case someone can think up a sufficiently amazing scam.
because it wouldn’t surprise me if Bucky already has a way to pull off this scam.
Although it may be possible to chain employment, this proposal only allows recursion to a depth of two.

I’m not in favor of easy-to-achieve victory conditions so early, but this looks like a reasonable one. (I was actually thinking of something like this myself.)

BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
