Proposal: Overcrowned

Passes 3-1 with quorum FOR. -Bucky

Adminned at 08 Jan 2021 16:10:20 UTC

In the rule The Battlefield, change

The attacker gains one Crown.

to

If the target had the feature Refracted Crystal Heart, the attacker gains one Crown.

If any Crowns have been gained for the elimination of bogeys SQUIRTLE, WARTORTLE or BLASTOISE between the posting and the enactment of this proposal, remove them.

A bug in Mutazione. Surprised it slipped through!

The bug in Mutazione didn’t slip through, it got shot down with the rest of the proposal.  But when it got incorporated into Angel Options, it was no longer right in front of us.

I will admit I overlooked the chain-enactment clause when I cast my vote.

No-one audiably objected to it, which is as good as slipping through. You can’t expect me to fix bugs I don’t know are there!

Is this compatible with Multiple types of subspecies abilities?

Also due to the randomness of RFH appearing, this will result in crowns being handed out largely at random, if at all.

@coderblaze Thanks - have fixed compatibility with Multiple Types.

Randomness of RFH appearing is icky I agree. I still want to develop more ways for pilots to discern bogey stats but would accept another fix altogether. I believe this fix is still needed now though or the game could honestly be over in a day or two

(Voting against this because you think you can be the person who wins it in a day or two is of course a valid strat that I’d completely respect)

I think it’s one thing to fix the oversight, and a different thing to also remove Crowns gained due to it.

Speaking of which, could you confirm that SQUIRTLE and WARTORTLE do not have an RCH? The last sentence strips crowns from killing them even if they’d be awarded under the new rules.

Yes, SQUIRTLE and WARTORTLE do not have RCH. (I considered being coy about that in the proposal but decided to save on verbiage)

for But only because of the potential for the game to suddenly end otherwise.
