In rule 2.3 “Werewolves”, modify

If it is Nighttime, if no Werewolves are Prisoners, if two or more living Werewolves have the same target, if those Werewolves have not killed anyone since the most recent Daytime and if their target is still Alive and not a Prisioner, then the Mayor may post a blog entry announcing that their target has been killed. That Villager is now Dead.

for Only makes sense—without this, we could potentially HELP the Werewolves by killing one of them.

against No, we couldn’t. a dead werewolf is a dead werewolf.

for Yes we could. Say we KNOW someone is a werewolf. Jail him. The werewolves now cannot kill. If we kill him, the werewolves can kill.

Point, but…

That’s silly. Suppose we *think someone is a werewolf - which is *far* more likely - and jail him. Under the old rules, the killing stops, and we know he’s a werewolf and lynch him, or they don’t and we could let him free. Under this proposed change, the Jail test is no test at all, and the killing continues.

I’d rather the jail hlp tell us who the werewolves are, instead of being some sort of muzzle.

Because knowing is half the battle.

against Per Tesla, unless we change the jail rules such that if the werewolves kill someone when someone is in jail, it becomes public knowledge whether said person is a werewolf (the change is forced on them).

Hey, That’s a good idea, Amnistar!

the only problem with that is there becomes a way to gurantee that someone is a werewolf.  I’d prefer it to just be a “he was in jail, and no one was killed for X nights, he must be a werewolf…”  and then kill him and autopsy to body to find that the person was not a werewolf, they were merely lying low to convince you that said person was indeed a werewolf…

Yes… I thought of that too.

If there are four free and alive werewolves and they have equally targeted 2 different villagers, will both villagers die?

against i think a better rule would be something like a werewolf in jail has an x% chance of becoming a werewolf (and this being seen by the night watchman)

against is winning.  I’ll keep it that way.  3-6-1 with 13 hours to go.
