Create a new subrule of the rule “Feudal Contract” entitled “Feudal Rewards” as follows:
When a Proposal written by a given Soul is enacted, that Soul gains 2 Prominence; the enacting Admin should record this change.
Increase by 2 the Prominence of each Soul who has had a Proposal they wrote enacted in this dynasty, unless that Soul includes the text “no thanks” in a comment on this post.
altho it should not be limited to dynastic proposals only :)
Creates a mild but meaningful incentive to vote down other people’s proposals.
I’d hope this would be viewed as an incentive to write proposals rather than vote them down.
I disapprove of this mechanic but it will likely largely benefit me, so.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
