Requesting more time between Logs, because having only about a day (~1.33) between each is a bit quick
How are you calculating that ~1.3 day gap? Even if I make the posts entirely at random within each required day, doesn’t that average to 2.0 days between them (and 3.0 over the weekend)?
“Log Days” would be more accurate than “Logs”, admittedly. But yeah, I’d like more spacing between them, it’s a bit tight.
You’re forgetting to count durations of the log days themselves, CB.
What about not having logs tied to days of the week, making it every 3rd day instead, for even spacing?
Two events a week seems too few.
Since the minimum viable player activity on BlogNomic is generally taken to be once every 48 hours (the period at which proposals time out), maybe explicitly “no more than once every 48 hours” would be the way to go. (Or 47, in practice, so that the game didn’t creep onwards into night.)
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
