If the proposal “Winter Isn’t Coming” has not passed, this proposal has no effect.
Delete the last sentence of the rule “Summer.”
Create a new rule called “Autumn” with the following text:
The text of this rule has no effect unless the Season in effect is Autumn.
Each Townsperson has a Numerisma, which is a nonnegative integer defaulting to 0, tracked in the GNDT.
The Astrologer has a Numerisma, which is an integer between -1 and 9, defaulting to -1, and tracked in the GNDT. At any time, the Astrologer may change their Numerisma to an integer between -1 and 9.
The Numerisma of a Townsperson is considered to align with the Numerisma of the Astrologer if they are the same number, or if the digital root of that Townsperson’s Numerisma is the same as the Numerisma of the Astrologer.
If a Townsperson’s Numerisma aligns with the Astrologer’s Numerisma, any Proposal of theirs may be enacted if it has been open for at least 24 hours, it has a number of effective FOR votes greater than or equal to the number of active Townspersons minus one, and it is not contingent on the passage of another pending proposal.
If the Season would change from Autumn to Winter, first, each Villager is considered to have their Numerisma set to 0 and the Astrologer is considered to have their Numerisma set to -1.
“The digital root (also repeated digital sum) of a non-negative integer is the (single digit) value obtained by an iterative process of summing digits, on each iteration using the result from the previous iteration to compute a digit sum. The process continues until a single-digit number is reached. For example, the digital root of 65,536 is 7, because 6 + 5 + 5 + 3 + 6 = 25 and 2 + 5 = 7.”
