Add a new dynastic rule titled “Statistics” with the following text:
Each DDA Member has the following statistics tracked in the GNDT:
Add the sub-rule “Piloting” to the rule “Statistics” with the following text:
Piloting is a numerical statistic that measures how well a DDA member can fly a spacecraft. The highest legal value for Piloting is 10. If any DDA member’s Piloting statistic ever becomes more than 10, it is set at 10. New DDA Members start with a value of 0 for their Piloting statistic.
Add the sub-rule “Gunnery” to the rule “Statistics” with the following text:
Gunnery is a numerical statistic that measures how well a DDA member can fire a weapon. The highest legal value for Gunnery is 10. If any DDA member’s Gunnery statistic ever becomes more than 10, it is set at 10. New DDA Members start with a value of 0 for their Piloting statistic.
Set each DDA Member’s Piloting and Gunnery statistics to 0. Set the DDA Commander’s Piloting and Gunnery statistics to 10.
Add two new ranks to the sub-rule 2.3.1 Ranks:
N: Pilot; P: DDA Member must have at least 5 in the Piloting skill; B: none
N: Bombadier; P: DDA Member must have at least 5 in the Gunnery skill; B: none
We might consider giving Pilots and Bombadiers some kind of bonus later, other than just being able to Pilot and Bombadier a spaceship.
Add a new dynastic rule titled “Crew Members” with the following text:
Each spaceship may have a number of crew members that does not exceed that spaceship’s Crew Capacity. Crew members shall receive exactly one title of his choice, except one listed in the sub-rule “Special Titles” (called Special Titles) unless otherwise specified, when he boards a spaceship. A crew member may not change his title as long as he stays on the ship. If a crew member ever leaves the spaceship for any reason, he no longer has a title. Crew members and their respective titles are tracked in the “Spacecraft Register” wiki page.
Special Titles are titles that have specific requirements that may include, but are not limited to, a crew member’s rank, Tech owned, OOO, or other Gamestate information. Crew members with Special Titles have abilities that can affect Gamestate for as long as they hold that Special Title.
Create a sub-rule “Special Titles” to the rule “Crew Members” with the following text:
Each Special Title has a Name, Requirement, and an Ability and is listed below.
Add a sub-sub-rule “Pilot” to the sub-rule “Special Titles” with the following text:
Requirement: Must have the rank of Pilot.
Ability: As long as a spacecraft has no pilots, that spacecraft’s speed is 0.
Add a sub-sub-rule “Bombadier” to the sub-rule “Special Titles” with the following text:
Requirement: Must have the rank of Bombadier.
Ability: As long as a spacecraft has no bombadiers, that spacecraft’s power is 0.
Replace “‘Spacecraft’ exist.” in the rule 2.5 Spacecraft to “Spacecraft (or Spaceships) exist.”
Whew! I know this is a lot, but we have plenty of time to revise if needed, since right now we can’t even board the ships yet.
