Proposal: Political Transparency

Timed out 2 votes to 0. Enacted by Kevan, and I’m assuming that this doesn’t remove the Strengths from the ruletext as it didn’t say to do so.

In the rule “Claims”, replace “a nonnegative integer value for Strength” with “a publicly tracked nonnegative integer value for Strength”.

What problem is this solving? The Claim Strength is already visible in the ruleset. There’s also several other attributes of Claims like type, conditions, disown list, that you don’t seem to be concerned about.

It’s just frustrating to have to switch between the ruleset and the gamestate tracking page every time I want to see for example who has the single strongest claim

It feels like what you really want is to publicly track each Heir’s strongest Claim. It’s a derived value, so it doesn’t need to be tracked in the strict sense, but for convenience, if that’s what you want so that you don’t have to take notes, I would re-word your Proposal to do exactly that instead.

Just tracking each Claim’s Strength on the wiki page makes a lot of sense to me - we don’t only care about the Strongest Claims, but also the ones which may or may not be far behind.
