Proposal: POPOS

Times out and fails 1-1. -RaichuKFM

Add a new subrule to the rule “Targets” called “Policing Targets” as follows:

If any Hunter was the most recent Controller of a given Target until it was stolen under the rule “Stealing Targets,” and had gained control of that Target by posting a Confirmed Photo of it, they are the Last Known Owner of that Target. The Last Known Owner of a Target may pay 10 Points to become the Celebrant of that Target, if it does not have a Celebrant; this is called Policing that Target.

Gotta spend them somehow.

against Since we’re in two-player mode and this seems heavily tailored to apply to you and not me, as the game stands.

Do you honestly not foresee me stealing any of your targets?

It’s just not an appealing proposition as the game stands. You can use this power immediately, but I have to wait for you to steal a target; if that steal is your final action before winning, then the rule is no use to me. (Also you have ten points to spend, I don’t.)

Would it be more appealing if I proposed something similar with a sort of pay-to-roll-a-die mechanic?

A simple “pay X to become Celebrant of any uncelebrated Target” rule seems enough here. But pragmatically I wouldn’t vote for it while you had nearly twice as many points as me.
