Add a new subrule to “Meddling” called “Private Security”. Give it the following text:

A Punter may contribute up to 20 Readies to an upcoming Sporting Event’s Security, provided that this amount does not exceed the amount of Readies they have, by privately notifying the Bookie of their intent to do so.

If at least one Ready has been contributed to a Sporting Event’s Security, and any Meddlings were planned for that Sporting Event, the Results Post for that Event shall mention that tampering was detected and Bookie shall privately notify each Punter who contributed a Ready of the target of a secretly randomly chosen Meddling planned on that Event.

If the number of total Readies that have been contributed to a Sporting Event’s Security equal or exceed ten times the number of planned Meddlings (including duplicates of the same Meddling planned by different Punters), and at least one such Meddling is planned, those Meddlings are all ineffective and the Results Post for that Event shall mention how many Meddlings were prevented. Whenever Meddlings are prevented this way, each Punter who contributed to the Sporting Event’s Security and did not plan one of those Meddlings loses Readies equal to their contribution. If the Sporting Event occurs and no Meddlings are prevented, each Punter who contributed to the Sporting Event’s Security loses a single Ready.
