Add a new definition to the glossary, Official Post, defined as
An Official Post is any post to the blog that meets a specific format defined by a rule, includes an action, or otherwise has an effect on the game state.
Remove the section of Rule 1.7 reading “Posts following the format specified by a rule are considered official posts.”
Bucky: How do you figure? The ruleset does not regulate alteration of them, does it?
“A non-official post may not, through editing of the blog or otherwise, be changed into an official post”. Sounds like a regulation on the alteration of unofficial posts to me.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
