Proposal: Proposal: The Bestest Better is Obviously Betterer Than You 2

Set to illegal by Kevan per my comment on it: “official posts can never be changed from one category to another, or changed to be a different sort of official post, if they have been posted for more than fifteen minutes”. This post “may no longer have any effect on the ruleset or the gamestate”.

If “Nomich World Cup” and “The Best Better is Obviously Better than You” was not enacted, this Proposal has no effect.

Punters should note this is an additional table separate to the Winners Circle, not additional columns.

Add a publicly-tracked table named All-Time Highs above Winner Circle with a row for each Active Punter.

Beside these rows are the following columns numbering what applies:
* Sporting Events taken part in
* Outcomes that matched Bet
* Total Readies Staked

If “May The Odds Be Ever In Your Favor” or similar ratio-based Proposal was enacted, add the following column:
* Max potential Readies

Max Potential Readies will numerate the highest possible Readies a Punter has calculated from all successful Bets. Any Meddles or other future actions that cost Readies (except for Bets) will not be subtracted from this column. The Bookie should update each field after each Outcome.

Refraining from subtracting Meddles or other costs from Max Potential Readies is to maintain some level of secrecy, just a rough idea as to who is in the lead.

Afraid that although this is functionally and visibly identical to just posting a new blog entry with the same text, the act of changing the timestamp and category on an old post (which was originally posted about 12 hours ago) has technically broken a rule, that:

“official posts can never be changed from one category to another, or changed to be a different sort of official post, if they have been posted for more than fifteen minutes.”

It’s a reliable rule of thumb (flagged up in the Fair Play rules) that players should never touch the timestamps on a post - although it can sometimes clear up a mess, it can also confuse matters if it’s not immediately apparent to everyone when something was actually posted.
