Remember my first attempt to imprison or kill Tiberias? Well, remember Tiberias’ votes? The ones that made the town meeting be a 2.7 mb page? Well, that kind of voting ends here!
Add the following text to the rule titled Voting:
Votes that have more than 2 voting icons in them are not allowed.
Bad idea, on top of that it’s vaguely worded enough that one could argue that it does nothing.
Would do nothing to stop someone adding a billion two-vote comments to a proposal. Or just 2.7Mb of “la la la”, to discourage other people from voting.
Any case where spamming had an effect would quickly be reversed by a CfJ or proposal; any victory achieved by excessive and abusive spamming would get disapproving no-votes in its DoV.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
