Enact a new subrule of “Resources” entitled “Measures of Success”:
When a Proposal is Passed, its Author may gain one of one of the Resources produced by the Sector they were in when it Passed.
Getting Resources, integrated with proposing. And yes, “one of one of”.
Apart from the fact that this fails to specify when the bonus is gained, I’ve come to dislike proposal rewards like this. They’re a disincentive to writing ambitious proposals in favour of safer, less interesting ones that are more likely to pass. Moreover, they encourage tactical voting based on the author of a proposal, rather than its own merits.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
