In the rule “Near-Field Psyonics” change “a random other word” to “a secretly chosen random other word” and “the Symbol Name of a random Avatar” to “the Symbol Name of a secretly chosen random Avatar”
Add a new subrule to the dynastic rule “Tier 4: Protoplasmic Quantum Soup”. Call it “Side Channel Leakage” and give it the following text:
When a Mindjacker performs a Potent Psychic Ping, the Ascendant shall generate a Portent identical to the first rule-required sentence in their response to that Psychic Ping, provided that it is not identical to an existing Portent.
Add a new subrule to the dynastic rule “Tier 5: Hypersquid Sonic Waveform Ocean”. Call it “Portent Backdoor” and give it the following text:

side-channel leakage is interesting! this is all suddenly reminding me of a logic puzzle board game called The Search for Planet X, with each player trying to track particular objects down while hiding as much of their gathered information from one another as possible.

“while it contains one’s name” - can you rewrite that to clarify whose name? The Observatory Report should only contain the Symbol Names of Avatars, so maybe that’s obvious, but it would help to clarify it in case there are disagreements about whether a Mindjacker has satisfied the Agenda item or not.
