Proposal: Quick Fix

Fewer than a quorum of Orcs not voting against. Failed 3-4 by Kevan.

Adminned at 03 Mar 2016 19:45:18 UTC

In “Titles” replace “Any Orc that has at least 5 Titles may achieve victory.” with:

Any Orc that has at least 5 Titles has achieve victory.

May Achieve Victory only means that they have permission to Achieve Victory not that they have Achieved it.

Surely if you have permission to achieve victory, then you can achieve victory? It’s as if the rule said “...may gain 1 point.”

(The ineffective wording we occasionally have to fix is “may declare victory”, since we’re all allowed to declare victory anyway.)

You’re right, my mistake. Just curious why you prefer it as an action though? It doesn’t seem like it changes anything to me?

for If anyone, somehow, attains five titles while not being around in time to do the invisible action allowing a win, I think that should be viable.

Since, you know, it’s invisible, there’s no way to prove that it didn’t happen, which makes it pointless.

Harmless, but pointless.

(Remember to fix “has achieve”, by the way.)
