Proposal: Raising the Steaks

Adminned at 12 May 2010 08:55:30 UTC

Create a new rule, named ‘Assorted Meats’, reading as follows:

Each {Match} must have a number of {Steak}s associated with it, with that number to be determined by the {Almighty Barbecuer}.
Each {Steak} is {Delicious} and {Meaty}.

Apparently, this proposal is 38 minutes old, possibly because I had the ‘create post’ screen open in a tab for that length of time. Is it possible that this has affected the time at which proposals have been adminned in the past?

And when I look at it from the main page, it is 36 minutes old (as opposed to the 41 minutes I see from here) and has no comments. What?

[Anonyman] Proposals are timestamped from the point at which you first open the “create post” screen; it seems to be an unchangeable behaviour of ExpressionEngine. And yes, it certainly has affected admin timings in the past, but we generally gloss over it, unless someone’s proposal suddenly pops up eight hours in the past. I think the sidebar timings sometimes lag a bit.

for Although, I don’t see why this rule, which clearly uses {match} in a way that is at least slightly related to the Proposal “Plaing the Game” has so many for’s (Most notably from Ienpw III, notice his comments on the original Proposal and the other Proposal based off of “Plaing the Game”) while that Proposal has so many against’s.

This rule has no “points”.
