Normally the AA would state what old rules get repealed. Since the repeal note was in the flavor box like the theme changes then the repeal doesn’t happen, per Bucky above. Made a proposal to fix that. (I had been wondering why no one was fixing the wiki.)

The last rule I recall being stated as not getting repealed at the start of a new dynasty was a rule called G-Man (or some form of that title)

“and may optionally specify that the terms Crewmember and Ship’s Computer will be replaced with theme-specific terms throughout the entire ruleset, and/or a number of dynastic rules to keep. Upon posting such an Ascension Address, the Ruleset is updated to reflect any changed terms, and any dynastic rules which were not listed to be kept are repealed.”

You don’t specify what gets repealed, just what gets kept.

It’s still not an auto wipe. Every dynasty AA since I’ve been a player (and its been alot) always has a line saying “repeal all dynastic rules.” or close to such. I still think a ruleset repeal didn’t happen based on why Bucky made this in the first place.

In fact, I found a case where forgeting to say such caused an issue at the start of one of kevs earlier dynasties.

Kevan VIIa is the main reason why repealing everything is now the default.

Fun fact: I was hoping Josh would forget the standard veto-everything, in which case it would have been possible to push through the victory condition I and later ayesdeeef proposed for last dynasty and immediately achieve it (because there are obviously no Androids right now). But he was too on the ball for that.
