Proposal: Recovered Blueprints

Fewer than a quorum not voting AGAINST. Failed 0 votes to 4 by Kevan.

Adminned at 13 Dec 2023 08:48:24 UTC

Add the following rows to the table of Tracts in the rule Estates:

Caretaker’s Hut | This estate gains 1 Prestige.
Markets | The Palatine of this estate may pay two of a given resource to earn one of a different resource.
Poorhouse | The Palatine of this estate gains 6 Reputation, and this estate loses 3 Prestige.
Gardens | The Palatine of this estate may reduce their stress by up to 4.
Private Kitchens | The Palatine of this estate increases the health of the Old King by 4, or decreases the health of the Old King by 4.

This is a reproposal of my previous attempt at this now that you can only use tracts once a week. It has an extra tract to give some small push to extend or reduce the length of the game - at most by a few days per week, if you throw everything you have at it.

Actually, I think I might idle out of this one. I’ve been angling for a scam win but it’s not really coming together and I don’t have the level of focus to try and defend my claims conventionally.

Player count is 7, quorum is 4.

SingularByte bowed out too soon, their scam is still active here due to an oversight in the News proposals that left “As a weekly atomic action for a given estate…” in place. (What The Curtains is fixing it, but is later in the queue.) The enacting admin would still be able to cycle Poorhouse Estates to gain infinite Reputation and Resources.

Except now with bonus “kill the king” Private Kitchens to end the game as well.

Enacting admin wins after performing a long chain of actions.

And pat on the back to Kevan for not staying silent and exploiting the scam?

(or he was worried another enacting admin would get to it first)

timer wasn’t in Kevan’s favor here, as this wouldn’t enactable for a few more hours even if it got a 4th vote so one of us probably would’ve gotten to it first

against still might change my vote later if it looks like I can work with someone to get this passed, but for now definitely safter to keep this in an against state
