I’d argue that most of this is unnecessary - if not actively counterproductive - of the DoV fails then ipso facto the creation of the phalanx and the two conquests didn’t happen (as the DoV failing appears to be contingent on them being illegal moves), so potentially this compounds the reversion, setting my Beat Actions to -3.

I don’t think Beat Actions can be negative, because of the usual Appendix clauses. “The total number of Beat Actions undertaken by each Demiurge in the dynasty so far is publicly tracked” means that Beat Actions taken is a numeric variable, which unless otherwise stated cannot hold negative etc etc etc.

It’s not entirely necessary, but it prevents someone from insisting that Josh’s rolled back actions didn’t need to be (and therefore couldn’t be) rolled back.
The heartbeats shouldn’t be scammable because the only beat actions that exist involve phalanxes (which will get wiped), and gathering food (of which there’s more than enough to go around at the moment).
