To the end of the bullet list in the rule “Turns”, add:-
* Post a blog entry, summarising the effects of having Advanced the Queues
Putting the core game event front and centre on the blog, rather than somewhere in the wiki history.
[Bucky] As a player I’d like to know whether I need to keep an eye on the wiki or the blog to find out when a turn has ended.
Since you take a minimum-required-explanation to the game (eg. tracking items as numbers even though informally noting the names of them would not break any rules) I figured it would need a proposal. Which is as it should be, in Nomic: if some players advise you to track this and other players possibly ask you not to, we should vote on it.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
