Email and IRC seem fine. Maybe this should explicitly become a subjective “to the Emperor’s satisfaction”, as we’ve no way of proving that a particular human is genuinely a particular, historical BlogNomic player.

Personally, I think this whole concept needs to be dropped. We’re chasing a rabbit that can’t be caught. Vouching should be reserved to BlogNomic itself.

I like the idea that old players can just wave hello without any great effort. Demanding a login would make it easier to process, but at the cost of removing some of those hellos, which I’m not sure is worth it.

I just doubt we’re going to get players who are not willing to log in but still want to tweet. Maybe I’m wrong.

s/k Agree with southpointingchariot about needing to drop the ability of external vouching and instead limit it to BlogNomic.

As a caveat, I was required to create a new login for the site not because of forgetting credentials but rather, a new system is now being used in BlogNomic from when I went in hiatus (around Dynasty 1X when I had but one ‘t’). This might also be problematic for others that surface from that era.
