Proposal: Seriously, only one bathroom in a mansion!?!

Replace the contents of rule 2.8 Manor Plan with the following:

Within the Manor exist four floors. Each floor has one or more rooms. Each Guest is in a room; this is tracked in the GNDT column “Location”.

The following is a list of all rooms according to their floor, with a code indicating how they should be referred to in the GNDT.

  Attic: Attic [3-ATTC]
Second Floor: Master Bedroom [2-MBED], Study [2-STUD], Lounge [2-LNGE], Second Floor Bathroom [2-BATH].
First Floor: Library [1-LIBR], Dining Room [1-DNGR], Kitchen [1-KTCH], Parlor [1-PRLR], First Floor Bathroom [1-BATH].
  Basement: Basement [0-BSMT].

All Guests start in the Parlor. If, at any point, a Guest has an invalid value listed in field “Location”, it is replaced by the first value in above list.

Middle of dinner, need to go to bathroom…why go all the way upstairs?

As the old French artist said, “Two loos - no trek”.

against Distinct room names make game actions easier to talk about. If this is to make the potential “No more than three Guests may be in the Bathroom at the same time.” mechanism work on more than one floors, we can have a Broom Cupboard instead.

The number of rooms should intentionally be kept relatively low, so that even if a number of Guests become Dead, there will still be a good guest-per-room ratio.

against It’s not like these are real bathrooms we’re talking about. And I’m pretty sure that any proposal that will require guests to periodically relieve themselves will be shot down.

A 1-person Water Closet, I’d be down with.  against
