In the bulleted list “Taking an item from a Crate is an atomic action that consists of the following:”, add a new step at the end:-

  • Optionally reducing by 1 (to a minimum of 1) the Health of a Resident who has the same Priority as the Resident taking this action, and also the same or greater Hangover.

Perhaps we need a cheap way to break up the clusters of players - four Residents out of six are currently tied with someone, and are under pressure to check the blog as frequently as possible to get a slight advantage.

Fair enough if there’s been a tactical reason to delay the vote here, but this proposal could be in the ruleset now if those first two comments had been actual votes.

I’m not sure this pressure to have a six-hour moratorium on absolutely everything is entirely good for the game. It feels like it might be silencing some voters - those who read the proposal in the six hour window and are ready to vote, but worry that they might be told off for “locking it down”. And then forget or lack the opportunity to come back and vote on it later. This wouldn’t be very good for the game.

I think that’s only mostly an issue when we have few proposals like now.

When we have more, there’s more chances of some proposal clogging the queue like a monster huge cleanup and thus making the moratorium thing have more sense because it’s not like these other proposals are going to be Resolved anytime soon anyway.

But yeah, for anyways.
