To the Rule “Occupations”, add:-
If a Villager is dead, their Occupation while alive is still listed in the GNDT, but is considered to be “Cadaver” for all other purposes.
Does this mean I don’t get acuity points for poisons that will be used after my death?
Yes. Once you’re dead, your occupation becomes “Cadaver” in all senses other than that of the GNDT list.
Oh, I just thought it seemed nicer thematically if we had a memorial to people’s professions, that they were listed as “Dead Silversmith” rather than “Dead Cadaver”. Feel free to propose a change if I’m making things needlessly confusing, though.
Well, I’m abstaining from this one; I like my acuity points, but don’t really like the idea of people doing stuff after they’re dead.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
