Replace the first paragraph of “Complexity” with:-
The Complexity of a Dynastic Rule is equal to the number of bullet points in that rule; if the rule has no bullet points, its Complexity is instead 1.
If it exists in “The Island” rule, replace “(For this purpose, a list starts with a colon ‘:’ symbol, and may be empty.)” with:-
(For this purpose, such lists must be bulleted lists if not empty.)
Convert the lists of Castaways in subrules of “The Island” into bulleted lists.
Convert the list of Items into a bulleted list.
If a rule called “Motivation” exists, convert its list of goals into a bulleted list.
Given the haziness of “paragraphs but not lists” (is that three-line sentence about Signalling in the previous proposal a paragraph, or part of a list? Or is the whole rule one paragraph, since it has no breaks between the lines? Or zero paragraphs, if it’s one paragraph that contains a list? Is the sentence “the castaways named X, Y, Z are here” a list?), maybe we should measure something that can be counted unambiguously, and at a glance.
