Amend the rule “Integrity” so that it reads:
Integrity is the measure of how Monkly a Monk’s character is.
New Monks start with an Integrity of 10.
Whenever a Monk undergoes a Vow, e gains 2 Integrity every 24 hours if it is voluntary, or 1 Integrity every 24 hours if it isn’t, until either e breaks the Vow, or the Vow is removed.
Whenever a Monk breaks a Vow, e loses 5 Integrity.
Hix:
“per day” in the current Rule is a little unclear as to whether “day” is being used as a duration, or the period of time that lies between two consecutive midnights. In the Glossary’s definition of “often”, “per day” means the latter, but I think the Integrity increase is meant to be (roughly) porportional to the duration of the Vow. No Monk should, for example, be allowed to take a Vow mere seconds before noon on Sunday, and claim the 2 Integrity.
