Declaration of Victory: Sole Proprietorship

Long Live the King! Enacted, seven to none, by Ienpw III.

Adminned at 08 Jun 2013 21:43:17 UTC

As I am the owner of all 110 Parcels of England, I declare myself victorious under the Rule “Owning the Land”.

As the sole owner of all the land in England, I declare this Feud between Families annulled. Peaceful deliberation will determine who ascends to Kingship.

I don’t plan to run the next Dynasty, so who wants it? Optionally leave your idea for it.

Well, I have a lot of regrets and things I would do differently if I could do it over again and I’m glad it is over but it was still fun and I am happy for your victory. for

Looks solid to me. for

Dynasty idea: United Nations. Players are Delegates; the emperor is the Secretary General (that could just be an honorary title, though, and the Sec Gen could maybe participate as a delegate). Each Delegate would represent a country and be encouraged (but not, of course, required) to stick to its actual foreign policy.

The idea’s somewhat nebulous at the moment, but gameplay could consist of conspiring together to adopt Resolutions (or amend them to match your country’s position). Another idea I had was for only a certain number of resolutions to be passed and once the dynasty ended the Sec Gen (if independent) could award the victory to whoever he wants: the most entertaining/most accurate/least accurate/whatever Delgate.

Clucky, we probably could have but didn’t have the coordination :P

I like Ienpw’s idea, but I’m worried it would be too similar to the Honourable Member one recently.

I’m currently thinking about Werewolf-esque and “formal language” dynasties. The former would be remote-research-station themed and have lots of secret roles (differentiating it from what I see in the 50th’s ruleset). The latter would be about axiomatising the rules and developing a precise and abstract gameplay system (tell me if that would be horribly dull for everyone other than me).

Oh, I didn’t notice the parliamentary one. I’ll hold off on the UN one for a while in that case. Both of Skju’s premises sound like they could be interesting. In the case of a Werewolf-esqe one I’d prefer it were inspired more by the theme/concept rather than mechanics, as we’ve had two werewolf (50, 72) dynasties already.

I’m fine with either of those ideas; I think it has been long enough to do another Werewolf Dynasty, and I would like to actively participate in one. So, it looks like I’ll pass this to Skju, then.

In that case, I can enact this DoV. Congratulations, RaichuKFM. Skju, you may post an ascension address at your leisure.
