If there is one Mortal Soul whose Luminance is greater than that of each other Mortal Soul, that Soul is Bright.

I’d also be fine with replacing the word “Bright” with “Foremost” or something—I just don’t like the ludosyntactic dissonance here, having created two game variables that mean “amount of light” yet aren’t directly correlated.
