Proposal: Sore Eyes

In the rule “Sighting”, replace “the Survivor who made the post loses 3 Sanity, and each other Survivor who Ahoyed the Sighting loses 1 Sanity” with:-

each Survivor who Ahoyed the Sighting loses 1 Sanity

And replace “a quorum of Sane Survivors” with:-

a number of Sane Survivors greater than or equal to a quorum of Sane Survivors

Cutting the penalty for a false sighting, which is maybe a bit much, and improving the wording of “quorum of Sane Survivors”, given that “quorum” is a number, not a group of people.

for Yep. Given that I was suddenly (albeit falsely) 1 clue away from declaring victory, and hesitant to sight. The second amendment’s wording is still a little ambiguous. Does the Quorum have to be of the group of entirely Sane Survivors? Does the Quorum become invalidated if an Insane Survivor votes and the Quorum is no longer entirely made up of Sane Survivors?

The “quorum of Sane Survivors” is counted whenever the Sighting is resolved, and then compared to the number of Sane Survivors who have Ahoyed the Sighting. This seems to work okay, even if people go insane after having Ahoyed - we don’t count their Ahoy, and we don’t count them for Quorum either.
