Reword the first sentence of the rule Special Proposal Voting from

When a Shuttle casts a vote AGAINST their own Proposal (which is not in the form of a DEFERENTIAL vote), this renders the Proposal Self-Killed, even if the author later changes their Vote.

to

When a Shuttle casts a vote VETO their own Proposal, this renders the Proposal Self-Killed, even if the author later changes their Vote.

I think it’d be nice to be able to propose something that, while you don’t necessarily want implemented, you know someone else in the game would like who just can’t write a proper proposal.

Note: This wouldn’t change the fact that VETO is only a vote if cast by the Traffic Warden, and would therefore make it impossible for most players to self-kill their proposals.

against mostly as per Bucky. I feel like if you want the proposal on the board but don’t want to support it, then you could use a DEF vote to do that (it won’t work as well, but it will serve to get your point across).
