Create a new Rule “Forced Redistribution” containing the following:
Whenever the Despot loses Power, except by spending Power to perform a Government Action that is Punitive, all Seditious Oligarchs gain an amount of Power equal to the total amount of Power lost, divided by the number of Seditious Oligarchs, rounded down.
Honestly this seems pretty fair though. Seditious people need to gain power somehow… 
Clucky - if I was being glib I’d say that they have a way to gain power, and that’s to suck up and be made Loyal again.
But you’re right in the general thrust. I’ll make a proposal shortly. I think in general I’d like to develop the Oligarch-Oligarch interaction for a bit, the Despot-Oligarch relationship feels reasonably well developed for now.
It is true that we could do that but if no one works against you then nothing will ever happen in the dynasty. I mean until someone gets enough power to pass you up but without you needing to spend power on anything that is a LONG time from now.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
