But this isn’t as bad as it sounds: since these aren’t CfJs, we don’t have much of a backlog at all!

And, by the way, they’re all failing apart from the last two; one is the broken one this replaces, and one is this one itself, but like I said, we don’t actually need a spring clean, so it’s fine.

Indeed. Pavitra is working on a ratification (/not/ retroactive) CfJ to solve this and (if it exists) the arrival bug, and to clean up the CfJs in the process.
